Over 100 case managers, social workers and others who assist the elderly attended The Karp Law Firm’s Breakfast Workshops in Boynton Beach, Palm Beach Gardens and Ft. Pierce. Our attorneys discussed pending changes in Florida Medicaid laws; the ins and outs of contested and uncontested guardianships; and why annuities should be avoided as a means of gaining access to V.A. or Medicaid benefits. Guest speakers from MorseLife’s “Just Checking Program” told participants about the free services available through the program both in Palm Beach County and the Treasure Coast.
