The Karp Law Firm Essay Contest helps raise young people’s awareness of Alzheimer’s Disease, awarding $500 to the Palm Beach County student whose essay best describes how he/she and family have been affected by the disease. This year’s winner is Dwyer High School student Cecelia Britton, whose aunt suffers from Alzheimer’s Disease. Attorney Joseph presented the award to Cecilia at the West Palm Beach Memory Walk on April 4, 2009.
