On October 30 Attorney Karp and his wife Debbie attended Bill Finley’s 93rd birthday party. Bill and his wife Anita are the managing editor and publisher, respectively, of Boomer Times and Senior Life magazine. Attorney Karp is a frequent guest on Anita’s Saturday morning radio show, Seniors Leading Active Lives (STARS).
A World War II bomber pilot who flew numerous missions over Europe, Bill went on to a career in urban planning after graduating from Berkeley. He was intimately involved in developing several American cities, including Columbia, Maryland. He remains keenly interested in the development of the American urban landscape and has written several books on the topic. Bill is working on a new book now, in a different genre – it’s a murder mystery. Happy birthday, Bill!
